Ingredients
1    Large white onion  
1  tablespoon  Canola Oil  
0.5  pound  rib eye  
4  slice  American Cheese  
2    hoagies  
1  pinch  Kosher Salt  
1  pinch  Freshly ground black pepper  

Directions

1. Preheat a Copper Chef Griddle Pan over medium heat.

2. Add the onions to the center of the griddle and a splash of the canola oil.

3. Saute, tossing often, until they begin to caramelize.

4. Push to the side of the griddle.

5. Add the rib eye.

6. Cook, tossing often, until cooked through, about 3 minutes

7. Push to the side of the griddle.

8. Place 2 slices of American cheese in the center of the griddle.

10. Top with half the onions and half the meat. Use a hoagie to scoop up the cheese, meat and onions.

11. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
